J. Arthur Adams, J.D. (“Jake”) is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School, and a former Visiting Student at Oxford University where he studied Christian theology and legal philosophy with tutors at Wycliffe Hall and Oriel College.

Before founding Oxbridge Law Firm PLLC, he was a special assistant to Judge Ken Starr and served as an intern in the White House where he compiled briefing papers for the President.

During law school, Jake completed his judicial internship with Judge Charles R. Eskridge III, where he was recognized as a Blask Fellow by the Southern District of Texas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He also served as Vice Chair of the State Bar of Texas Law Students Division.

Jake has experience working on high-profile litigation including drafting and editing complex legal briefing in the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has represented clients in Texas and California courts and in arbitration.

Jake has a deep appreciation for the practice of law as a service-oriented profession and strives to serve the ends of justice both inside and outside the courtroom. He is a member of the Federalist Society and enjoys volunteering pro bono hours for a non-profit foundation exploring novel approaches to holistic medicine and healing.
